Amino Acid Blend:
Amino acids help build muscle, along with many other valuable processes in the body. This amino acid blend is designed to help your body grow, repair and perform.

Glutamine: Glutamine is an amino acid found naturally in the body. Its most popular function is being a building block of protein but it also plays a key role in the immune system. Glutamine plays a key role in intestinal health and other essential processes in the body, especially in times of stress. Glutamine is produced in the muscles and is distributed by the blood to the organs that need it. Glutamine is needed to make other chemicals in the body such as other amino acids, glucose, nitrogen and carbon. For example, after a surgery or traumatic injury, nitrogen is necessary to repair the wounds and keep the vital organs functioning. A large amount of nitrogen comes from glutamine.

Arginine: Arginine is an amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. Arginine has gotten lots of attention lately for its potential heart benefits, wound healing benefits, it’s help with removing waste products in the body through the kidneys, maintaining immune and hormone function and its help in dilating and relaxing the arteries. Deficiencies of arginine are rare. It’s abundant in many different types of foods, and your body can also make it. Arginine-rich foods include red meat, fish, poultry, wheat germ, grains, nuts and seeds, and dairy products.

Carnitine: Carnitine is a chemical similar to an amino acid that is produced in the body. It helps the body turn fat into energy. In energy metabolism, carnitine transports long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria to be oxidized for energy production, and also participates in removing products of metabolism from cells. It is important for heart and brain function.

Glutathione:
Glutathione is an antioxidant made from three amino acids: glutamine, glycine, and cysteine. Glutathione is made by the body but may reduce over time due to a multitude of factors, including: age, poor nutrition, environmental toxins, and stress. Glutathione is involved in many processes in the body, including tissue building and repair, making chemicals and proteins needed in the body, and for the immune system. Arguably one of its most important roles is reducing free radicals. Free radicals are like poison to the body. Too many free radicals may be a precursor to multiple diseases.  Glutathione is responsible for attacking and removing these free radicals from the body.

Ascorbic Acid:
Ascorbic acid, also known as Vitamin C, is a water-soluble vitamin that is naturally present in some foods, added to others, and available as a dietary supplement. Though it may not be the cure for the common cold, the benefits of vitamin C may include protection against immune system deficiencies. It is also plays an essential role in the protection against cardiovascular disease, prenatal health issues, certain eye
diseases and maintaining healthy blood vessels, bones and cartilage. Vitamin C has also been proven to be an essential nutrient involved in tissue repair and its one of the most popular substance used to help decrease visible wrinkles.

Zinc: Zinc is an essential trace mineral that is necessary to maintain health. There is no system for the body to store zinc so we must ingest it regularly through our food and supplements. Some dietary sources of zinc include: red meat, poultry, and fish. Zinc deficiency can lead to: short stature, stunted wound healing, reduced ability to taste and smell foods and the inability of reproductive organs to function properly. Zinc is involved in numerous aspects of cellular metabolism. It plays a role in immunity; helps the immune system to fight against bacteria and viruses, aids in protein synthesis, wound healing, supports normal growth and development during pregnancy, childhood, and adolescence.

Normal Saline:
Saline solution is a mixture of salt and water. Normal saline solution contains 0.9 percent sodium chloride (salt), which is similar to the sodium concentration in blood and tears. Normal Saline is typically used for fluid and electrolyte replenishment for intravenous administration. Normal Saline belongs to a class of drugs called Crystalloid Fluid.
