Frequently Asked Questions

Botox is a purified neurotoxin designed to soften the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles. The injectable is most commonly used to minimize wrinkles between the eyebrows, on the forehead, and around the outer corners of the eyes. Small amounts of the product are injected into the skin to relax targeted facial muscles. As the muscle relaxes, the overlying line or wrinkle becomes less noticeable. Some patients have minor bruising or redness immediately after treatment, but these side effects usually subside within a few hours. More serious complications are very rare. Results usually appear within 48 to 72 hours of treatment.

Preparations based on hyaluronic acid are used for face modeling. They build a kind of scaffolding, thanks to which the effect of a soft lifting lasts longer. Other uses of the injectable include correcting the shape of the lips or cheeks, treatment of moderate to severe facial lines or wrinkles, smoothing vertical lip lines – all adding up to a comprehensive rejuvenation. Generally, the effects of HA dermal fillers are visible for 6-12 months, depending on the density of the preparation.

Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin that your body needs but cannot produce. Vitamin B12  plays a vital role in red blood cell formation, cell metabolism, nerve function, and the production of DNA. B12 deficiency can lead to anemia, fatigue, muscle weakness, intestinal problems, nerve damage, and mood disturbances.

Benefits of B12 include increase in metabolism and fat burning which can aid in weight loss, increase energy levels, mental clarity and help promote healthy skin and nails.

NAD+ is necessary to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This compound is what the body uses for fuel. This treatment helps improve the necessary levels of NAD+ within the cell to help fight general fatigue at the cellular level. Symptoms of a decrease of  NAD+ (a naturally occurring co-enzyme made by our bodies) are general fatigue, lack of motivation, and a decrease in clarity.
